In the weeks after the open wave, the December 17 and 25 operations were reframed as a "judicial coup attempt." The frame was woven simultaneously through statements, declarations, broadcast lines and legislative steps.

Specific patterns in the statements of the period's prime minister, ministers of interior and justice, and party officials — "parallel state," "judicial coup," "set-up" — became shared currency among the participants in the narrative.
